All cheese slicers are made of various hardwoods, with stainless steel cutting wire and mechanism to avoid rust, etc.

I have several of these boards available now, with various wood combinations.  Each board includes an extra cutting wire in case of accidental breakage.   

All slicing boards have the same premium thermoplastic rubber feet as my cutting boards.   Including the stainless steel screws.
